The next Girlfriends’ Getaway event will be held on 28 November at Ster-Kinekor theatres across the country and features the anticipated comedy musical Pitch Perfect! Catch Pitch Perfect at Ster-Kinekor’s Girlfriends’ Getaway two weeks before its national cinema release (7 December is the South Africa release date). This highly entertaining film tells the story of Beca (Anna Kendrick) - a Barden University student who takes it upon herself to revamp the school’s group of female singers and turn them into a competition-winning outfit.

Directed by Jason Moore and Produced by Elizabeth Banks, Max Handelman and Paul Brooks, Pitch Perfect sees Beca trying to bring the best singing performances out of a group made up of girls with completely different personalities. The only thing the girls in ‘The Bellas’ have in common is how good they all sound when they sing together. The talented, albeit mismatched, team decides to take on the cutthroat world of college music competitions... with hilarious results.
