The new leader of smartphones is stuffed with brilliant features that could even drive a sikothane from the east of Johannesburg crazy. The Android operating phone is so slick, has great battery life and is faster than its predecessor. Though it lacks the looks of the HTC ONE and Sony Xperia Z, but has what it takes to delight hands and earn some bragging rights.

HTC ONE

The Taiwanese company has manufactured a phone that can probably hold its own, but still lacks that killer instinct to compete with the leaders of the pack. The phone is capable of streaming content, contains a photo gallery that comes to life, an amazing Ultra Camera that captures 300% more light, speakers that bring music enjoyment and a sexy metal body.

Lenovo Helix Ultrabook

Its 11.6 inch capacitive touchscreen detaches to become an 835g tablet with five hours’ independent battery life.
